Glowing review of biography on Mike Hoare
When I was crafting ‘Mad Mike’ Hoare: The Legend, I was beset with thoughts such as, “What will Person A say?” and “What will Journalist Friend B say?” and “What will Military Expert C say?” and “What will Family Member D say?”
I then realised I would never please everyone, so I decided to please myself.
And so, with that context in mind, it has been especially pleasing to know that 4000 plus people have bought the book, and obviously many more have read it. And no complaints received!! That includes an edition of 100 ‘leatherbound’ books, all numbered, and all signed by Mike Hoare and myself, and ALL sold at a significant premium to discerning collectors.
